Compete in our Preliminary Virtual Pageant...You will have the opportunity to win your state's crown and sash for the right to compete at the 2026 AUS National Pageant in North Carolina!

Midwest Region: IN, IL, IO, MI, ND, SD, OH, WI
Gulf Coast Region: AL, FL, LA, MS, TX
New England Region: CT, ME, MASS, NH, RI, VT
Rocky Mountains Region: CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WY
AGE GROUPS:
Little Miss: 6 to 8
PreTeen Miss: 9 to 11
Jr Miss: 12 to 14
Teen: 15 to 18, single and no children
Miss: 19 to 29, can be single or married or divorced, can have children
Mrs. / Ms.: 30 and Up, single or married
Curvy Ms.: 20 and Up, any marital status, must be a size 16 or above
AREAS OF COMPETITION:
50% Headshot: Submit by email.
50% Interview: Submit your responses via email to the below three questions via a written response that is no more than one paragraph per question OR via video response that is no longer than 2 minutes total.
QUESTIONS FOR AGES 15 AND UP: 1) What is one piece of advice you have received that you feel could help others? 2) If you were to be crowned the National Titleholder, what would you want your first appearance to be and why? 3) What are three words you would use to describe your definition of beauty?
QUESTIONS FOR AGES 6 TO 14: 1) What is your favorite book, tell us why. 2) What is your favorite thing to do for fun, tell us why. 3) What are 3 words your family and friends would use to describe who you are?

SETTING: We have a private group for our judging panel and submissions will be posted there for the panel to review and score. Once the judging is final, we will post an official announcement and notify the winners via email. Crowns and sashes will be shipped to winners and the pageant office can assist with arranging a crowning moment in your area.
VIRTUAL DEADLINES: Virtual Prelims begin on the first day of each month and run thru the 25th of that month; Winners will be announced by the last day of that month. AUS Virtual Prelims begin September 1, 2025 and are hosted monthly thru June 10, 2026.
ENTRY FEES: There is no fee to compete in the virtual preliminary. Prelim winners will receive a waived entry fee to the America's United States Pageant in July 2026 but will be responsible for the media fee that all contestants must pay. Media Fees are as follows: Princess Divisions $195; Jr. Miss Division $250; Teen, Miss, Mrs. / Ms, and Curvy Ms. Divisions $325 (the national pageant is a live event and prelim winners must be present to compete). Newly crowned winners of this preliminary will have 14 days to remit their national media fee OR an approved deposit with arrangements for the balance. The fee covers the crown and sash and entry to Nationals. All contestants at nationals supply their own food, accommodations and travel to Nationals.
